Simply put, 2007 vintage was spectacular. All of our 2007 Pinot Noirs, while ripe and concentrated as the California harvest dictated, show an elegance and complexity that we wish we could achieve every year. Each wine is very distinct and shows the unique characteristics of the areas in which they are grown. While the alcohol levels are similar across each wine, that is where the similarities stop.

Aromas of caramelized bing cherries waft from the glass. Bright cherry and cranberry fruit melds with flavors of cola nut, earth and smoky spice. The bright acidity and fine tannins lift the flavors through to the long elegant finish. A cellar worthy wine that will evolve and gain complexity with 5-10 years of bottle age and beyond.

Explosive aromas of dark raspberries, leather, and sage. Blueberry and black raspberry flavors fill the mouth with complex hints of tobacco and black olive interwoven throughout. A full and silky mouth feel leads to a finish that seems to linger for minutes. With bottle age this wine will continue to develop complexity and nuance over the next 5-10 years.

The aromas are reminiscent of candied raspberries and a hint of spicy smoke. Dark cherry and deep red raspberry flavors unfold with subtle notes of hay and bergamot. A rich and round mouth feel is supported by silky tannins. The concentrated flavors and firm structure indicate an ability to age gracefully for a decade or more.

Aromas of cherry, strawberry, rose and violet with classic Anderson Valley earthiness. Bright cherry and berry fruit initially gives way to complex flavors of cola nut, moss and spice. The balanced acidity and seamlessly integrated tannins carry through to the long smooth finish. Will open up and gain complexity with additional cellaring.
