FULCRUM 2009 PINOT NOIRS

Our 2009 Pinots represent many “firsts” for us:

• First vintage in our new facility in Napa
• Working with two new vineyards Floodgate and Londer
• Establishment of Remond as our exclusive barrel for Fulcrum
• Launch of our On Point Christinna’s Cuvee. A Pinot that blends wines from multiple AVAs in California’s North Coast.

We are very pleased with how these wines have developed and are excited to share them with you. The 2009 harvest was again a warm one in Sonoma and Anderson Valley. Our challenge was to select the right picking date for each vineyard to avoid over ripe fruit which could easily result in such temperatures. We managed to do this and keep alcohol levels moderate. Each wine is distinct, but carries the Fulcrum signature style of balance and elegance.
